I am sitting here listening to the old time blues show on WEVL. Steve does a great job. Creates a real mood. It goes especially well with the weather outside right now. Oh, Sonny Boy Williams! It's about to rain...again. But I noticed a strange, almost electric smell in the air while I was out back enjoying the breeze. Or maybe it's a plastic smell or electric, plasticky. It smells strange, but somehow pleasant and natural. I don't know how plastic smell natural but it does. I hear the raindrops staring to fall now so I am glad I went out earlier. There goes the thunder along with some Muddy Waters. I love thunder storms. As long as I don't have to drive, I hate driving in nasty weather. It's nasty when you have to drive in it. It's wonderful when you can sit back and enjoy a good storm.
Oh by the way, WEVL's Spring Pledge Drive starts tomorrow (Friday) so tune in. I don't mean to harp on it but the station always needs new members, listener supported you know. So WEVL Memphis, 89.9 FM/www.wevl.org.
